Dr. Nicholas (Nick) Rodriguez is a board certified pediatric dentist. He is a diplomate of the
American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Originally from McAllen, Texas, Dr. Nick obtained his
Bachelor of Science in Biology at Baylor University in 2014. He received his Master of Public
Health at The University of Texas School of Public Health in 2018 and Doctorate of Dental
Surgery from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2019. He then
completed his residency in Pediatric Dentistry in 2021 at Harvard School of Dental
Medicine/Boston Children’s Hospital, where he served as chief resident.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, but raised in Plano, Texas, Dr. Houari, our teams general dentist, knew from an early age that dentistry was his true calling. He attended the University of Texas at Dallas for his undergraduate career where he graduated with honors. He then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio for his Doctorate of Dental Surgery where he also graduated with honors. Throughout his dental career Dr. Houari has been practicing and advocating quality dental care for all patients.
Dr. Jose Alvarado is a general dentist who carries a passion for treating patients of all ages but especially when it comes to caring for the youngest members of our community. Dr. Alvarado was born in Zacatecas, Mexico and moved to Carrollton at age 3. In fact, he attended elementary school just a mile down the road at McCoy elementary school before moving to Dallas for middle school and high school. Dr Alvarado began his path into dentistry attending a dental assisting vocational program provided by his high school (Health Professions at Townview Magnet Center). This is also where Dr Alvarado passion for caring for children began, as most of the patients seen at the program where children from Dallas schools all around the city.
Hi, I’m Dr. Fabiola Mercado, a proud first-generation general dentist from Dallas, Texas. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Biochemistry, from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). I then went on to complete my dental education at Texas A&M College of Dentistry.
I began my career in dentistry with a strong foundation in education, teaching young people about the importance of oral hygiene and providing preventative treatments. This experience allowed me to see firsthand the significant impact early education can have on long-term oral health. By helping children develop healthy habits, I was able to foster a positive attitude toward dental care that continues to benefit them as they grow.
This passion for prevention and education remains a cornerstone of my practice today. I’m dedicated to ensuring that all of my patients, young and old, understand the value of maintaining good oral hygiene and the role it plays in overall health.
